Born 18 April 1952, Novi Sad.
From 1974-1976 worked as a trainee lawyer.
From 1976-1979 served as Secretary of the Matica Srpska Gallery in Novi Sad.
From 1979-1986 Adviser and Assistant Secretary in the Executive Council of Vojvodina and later Under-Secretary and Adviser to the President of the Executive Council.
From 1986-2001 with the Federal Secretariat for Foreign Affairs (now Ministry of Foreign Affairs) in Belgrade:
- As First Counsellor/Consul of the Embassy of Yugoslavia in Baghdad, Iraq, 1986-1991;
- MFA Middle East and Northern Africa Department, 1991-1992;
- 1992-2001 as Counsellor and Charge d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Yugoslavia in Tel Aviv, Israel (1992-1997), and subsequently as Ambassador of Yugoslavia (1997-2001)
From 2001-2007 engaged in private business.
In 2007 appointed Secretary General of the Ministry.
Speaks fluent English and has a working knowledge of German.
Married, with two children. |
