Born 16 April 1952, Belgrade.
Graduated in international relations at the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade, 1976.
Attended postgraduate studies in international law at the Belgrade Law Faculty.
Joined the Federal Secretariat for Foreign Affairs in 1977;
- 1978-1981 – Attache, Directorate for the Far East, Indochina and the Pacific and the Protocol Department;
- 1981-1983 – Assistant to the Executive Secretary for the preparation of UNCTAD VI in Belgrade;

- 1987-1990 – Second Secretary, Consular Affairs Directorate;
- 1990-1993 – First Secretary, Embassy in Lagos, Nigeria;
- 1993-1997 – First Secretary, Consular Affairs Directorate;
- 1997-2002 – Consul and Consul-Gerant, Consulate General in Sydney, Australia;
- 2002-2004 – Minister Plenipotentiary, Deputy Director, Directorate for Diaspora;
- 2004-2007 – Ambassador, Director, Consular Affairs Directorate;
- October 2007 – Assistant Minister, Director General, Directorate General for Consular Affairs and Diaspora.
Speaks English and Bulgarian; working knowledge of Italian.
Married, one child.
