BELGRADE, Oct 6 (Tanjug) - Chairman of the Serbian Parliament Committee for European Integration said that he hopes that in two to three weeks all laws necessary for Serbia to be on the White Schengen List will be adopted, and that the parliament opens debate on these laws Tuesday. We will certainly fulfill part of the promise concerning the adoption of 49 laws needed for obtaining the EU candidate status, Varga said at a joint news conference with European Parliament MP Victor Bostinaru, who is also the president of the European Parliament (EP) delegation for relations with south-east European countries Speaking about problems the parliament is facing in the adoption of the anti-corruption laws and laws which are necessary for Serbia's approaching the EU, Varga expressed hope that part of the opposition will stop the obstruction in the parliament, because it inflicts damage to Serbia's citizens Bostinaru, who is also a representative of the Socialist group in the EP, said that his advise to political parties in Serbia is not to politicize the issue of European integration, pointing out that this issue should not serve for conflicts between the ruling majority and opposition, because "wellbeing and future" of Serbia's citizens is at stake here.
